Thank you for visiting my webpage.  I have been providing psychological services for over 25 years and have been honored to work with many clients presenting with a wide range of concerns.  While the concerns of clients have varied, some common issues have included depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, grief, life transitions, and post traumatic stress disorder.

My approach to therapy is largely influenced by cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic theories.  However, I believe strongly in the need to tailor my interventions to meet the specific needs of my clients.  In my work with clients, I emphasize the importance of developing a strong relationship which is based on respect and trust.  Within the context of a safe relationship, you will be able to address issues which may be creating a significant amount of distress.  Finding a psychologist with whom you feel comfortable is essential.  Often what  initially is perceived as a very difficult time in your life can, with professional guidance, become an opportunity to make significant and positive life changes.
